## Mark Complete Or Reopen

When a reminder has been handled:

1. use the complete action to mark it done
2. if needed later, use the toggle again to return it to active

## Due Today Indicators

OrbitOverflow highlights reminder activity in two ways:

- a due-today count inside the Reminders page
- a reminder chip in the top navigation when reminders are due today

## Rules And Limits

- title and date are required
- repeat-until cannot be earlier than the reminder date
- repeat interval is normalized to a safe positive value

## Troubleshooting

### I cannot save a recurring reminder

Check that the Repeat Until date is not before the main reminder date.

### I do not see due-today reminders in the top navigation

The reminder chip only appears when at least one reminder is due today and your account has reminder permission.

### My reminder is missing

Clear filters or widen the date range.

## Best Practices

- Use reminders for commitments, deadlines, and follow-ups rather than for detailed execution work.
- Add a time only when time-specific attention is required.
- Use recurring reminders for monthly admin tasks or regular check-ins.
